Hi, My name is Faye Ponferrada. I am a currently a mathematics major in CSULB. I would like to use my background in math to one day teach in a university. Here is some advice for taking courses in mathematics

Find your own way to learn how to learn. Everyone has their own logic.

For example, using sayings and pictures can help you memorize formulas and functions.

Don't give up! Mathematics is a difficult course, so it takes extra effort. Make sure to practice lots!

Learn Definitions! It will be very helpful to know the definitions of things when you need to prove or disprove statements

Learn how to read a math textbook. Although listening to your teacher might be enough to get through tests, self-study helps you own the content
